No waiting time because we eat at 4p.m just when they open.I read a lot of review about this overrated restaurantand after eaten the Ikkaku "oily" chicken finally I can says we eat nice legs chicken in another place for less expensive.

Totally loved it. Had both Oyadori and hinadori. Oyadori was very peppery (goes well with a beer ;)) but a bit dry, hinadori was light and juicy. Personally preferred hinadori more but it's good to try out both and compare the taste. Aside from Honetsukidori, all other dishes we ordered (salad, torimeshi) was awesome as well. There was a long wait (almost 2 hours with a reservation) but I love to come back here again.

Solty and oily but not bad

Ikkaku is one of the most famous restaurants in Takamatau area. We came here before it actually opens to avoid the line. But overall, the food is not too impressive. The chicken are too salty! The chicken rice is good but not too different compare with other stores.

Great place for grilled chicken legs and drinks. The chicken legs are tasty but old chicken legs is a bit chewy. Young chicken is very nice and tender. Good service and resonable price.

Prepared to get into the line before getting the chicken because this restaurant is so famous! Order the “old” chicken and you won’t regret :)

Well, good thing is the taste is exceptional. Chicken legs are grilled based on Chinese recipe, which are delicious given the texture of chewy japanese chicken. Fingers licking good indeed. Ox tendon is very good... Bad thing is you have to queue up for them soon after the shop is opened. Maybe the business is so good that it makes the manager appeared a bit indifferent towards the customers.

So tasty chicken, I recommend to eat chicken sauce with rice.

Waited for 20 minutes on a Saturday evening. Turned out there are over 5 empty tables inside the restaurants while over 20 people are waiting outside. Those are within the designated smoking area, yet it is just one metre away from non smoking area(with no wall in between). The hinadori(young chicken) is juicy and tender .

Checken was great! Rice...maybe I am not a fan. Could try tho.

There are two choices of chicken legs, one is soft another one is hard. Strongly recommend the soft one it is really good and cheaper than another one.

Food is okay ,just don't even order the old/hen chicken let, I almost choke to death eating it. It is so rubbery and tough you can chew thru it.

More than poor!! They don't care the Chinese business (Hong Kong) but just serve with the local people. Just asked us to wait for an hour, then another hour and let us to queue at the end with no reason again with super impolitely attitude!! Black listed for this restaurant and my first time with such experience in Japan. I am regret that not able to give them without star. 1 star is more than what I want to rate them.

The chickens were good! But not sure worth the 1hr queue. We went around 7 and was really busy. When we left at 8.30pm, only 7 ppl waiting outside. So if you don’t mind, I’d recommend late dinner. Chicken wise, I prefer the young chicken, the adult chicken was too rubber-y!

Came for a late dinner after a concert with a friend who recommended this place. At around 9pm there was still a long line, and we had to wait about 30 min. For the shop's best selling flamegrilled chicken, you have a choice of young or old chicken. I think young chicken is more tender while old chicken is a bit chewier. We got the young one, and it was covered in spices (mainly salt and pepper) and had the mouth-watering aroma of meat straight off the grill. Haven't had such good grilled chicken since coming to Japan. We also got some chicken fried rice on the side to fill up on some carbs.

おやとり (Oyatori) is a must eat. It takes some effort to eat but the taste worth the effort! えびす (Ebisu) Dark beer is good too.

If you are in a group of 8-10 people, don't expect they will serve you right. Instead of telling you any reason or explanation, they only requested us to queue up again and again. We were not even able to get a table at the end after waiting for an hour. Watching the other people that around us in the queue were served and left. NO SERVICE AT ALL, BAD RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN.

Service was good, we came pretty late, around 21:00 and there wasn't any queue. Food came out relatively quick and I thought the chicken was the best among the others we've tried across the island. However no English menu. Price was reasonable.

Everything in the shop is based on chicken. The rice with chicken soy source is also great. The chicken leg is a little bit salty. It would be better if it's less salty. The quality is so good that the price is acceptable. Though there are many other choices with reasonably good quality and cheaper price. Overall, worth a try.

It is so delicious and soft chicken legs. You have to order junior chicken with triangle rice package, bit one chicken with one rice, it's fantastic.... But honestly the chicken is super salty as long as you order soup to refresh salty feeling, totally I give chicken lag for 90 point 💪💪

Dare not to try the old chicken. The young one is very tasty and tender. Eating with beer make everything better.
